New airport link launched

Passengers using Liverpool Airport can now make use of a coach service linking the hub to both Manchester and Liverpool city centres. The new service operates on an hourly basis throughout the day and night, 7 days a week. And as well as operating to Manchester and Liverpool city centres, the coaches also stop in Widnes and Warrington, and call at Manchester Airport.
Operated by specialist company Airport by Coach, the busses used have air conditioning, reclining seats and wireless internet access. An airport spokesman said: 'Until now many passengers have had to travel by car or taxi because public transport services do not operate at times when they need to travel to the airport. This new coach service helps to solve this problem and offers passengers throughout the region a real alternative.'
