Airport expects profit this year

Liverpool Airport will make a maiden profit this year, Peel Airport's Managing director Andrew Simpson said.
Boosted by worldwide interest in Liverpool as a consequence of the Capital of Culture, record numbers of people are expected to pass through the airport this year. Last year saw an 11 percent jump in passenger numbers to 5.5 million.
