New airport branding launched today

Liverpool Airport has officially unveiled its £1.6m design and branding enhancements today. Designed by Broome Jenkins and funded by the North West Regional Development Agency, the Air Portal Initiative will create a 'positive first impression' for visitors to Liverpool during its reign as European Capital of Culture year.
Broome Jenkins managed the project and designed the Liverpool 08-branded seating areas in the terminal. In addition, it used illustrator John McFaul created a 300m-long mural for the airport, column wraps for the baggage hall and 7 airport car park shuttle-bus wraps and River Media created a welcome video that will appear on plasma screens installed in the buses.
The new branding will be unveiled today ahead of the opening ceremony for the Capital of Culture, which takes place next weekend.
