Terminal redevelopment plans approved

Liverpool Airport has secured planning permisssion for the extension of its existing terminal. It will relocate an search area into one of the adjoining hangers to create more space in the terminal.
The work will see the creation of a new link from the check-in desks to the new search facility as well as the redevelopment of level 3 of the terminal, to transform it from a landside retail facility to an airside facility. The work is due to start immediately, with a view to being completed by Summer 2010.
