Passengers shun public transport for cars and parking

Less than one-in-seven passengers use public transport to travel to Liverpool Airport, with the car and airport parking the most popular route.
A survey by the Civil Aviation Authority reveals that just 14% of passengers flying from the airport used public transport, still slightly better than Manchester. Most choose to drive to the airport and park in one of the car parks. The survey also showed 89% of Liverpool’s passengers were flying for leisure.
