The Easter and Bank Holiday weekends will be busier than usual for Liverpool Airport, the Post reports. The hub expects to handle 190,000 passengers over the 11 day period that covers the extended Easter and May Day period of four Bank holidays, including the Royal Wedding.
The airport is offering direct flights to more than 80 destinations across 22 countries, with airlines including easyJet, Ryanair, Flybe, Wizz Air and Eastern Airways. KLM’s daily link with Amsterdam Schiphol also offers onward connections to destinations worldwide.
New services recently launched include flights with Brussels, Gibraltar, Toulon, Kos and Rhodes, with flights to Tallinn in Estonia starting during the Easter break.
