Fog hits flights

Dense fog is still affecting flights in and out of Liverpool Airport this morning. All planes were grounded from 09:30 yesterday, with inbound flights diverted to East Midlands and Blackpool airports.
The fog is not expected to clear until 10:00 this morning. All passengers are advised to ring their airlines before setting off to the airport.
