Ryanair has carried its 8 millionth passenger at Liverpool Airport. Europe's biggest budget airline first launched flights from Liverpool in 1988, with a link to Dublin.
It celebrated its latest milestone in the same week that it announced 2 new routes - to Malaga and Nantes - both starting next April. It will also introduce 3 new ski routes from tomorrow.
