Busy weekend expected

This August Bank Holiday weekend is expected to be one of Liverpool Airport’s busiest ever, with around 76,000 passengers set to pass through its terminal. Around 100 flights will take off to 21 Mediterranean resorts, with hundreds of destinations also available across the globe via Amsterdam with KLM’s regular connecting service from Liverpool, and lots of city break flights too.
The airport’s busiest August Bank Holiday weekend to date was in 2007, when almost 80,000 passengers travelled through the airport. Passenger numbers are expected to come close to that record this weekend.
