easyJet passengers suffer flight disruption

Passengers flying with easyJet from Liverpool Airport faced disruption over the weekend as a number of flights were cancelled, the Echo reports. A flight to Malaga was axed on Saturday, with 5 flights - to Barcelona, Malaga, Nice, Belfast and Alicante - cancelled yesterday.
A spokesman for the airline told the newspaper it had been unable to secure slot times from air traffic control to operate the services. Passengers affected were given transfers to other flights or a refund.
