Record weekend and busy July at Liverpool Airport

Liverpool Airport is expecting its busiest ever Bank Holiday weekend, after passengers grew by 17% in July.
This weekend is forecast to break all records for the number of passengers travelling through the terminal as a record 77,000 passengers travel via Liverpool Airport. This will be a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.
The airport has broken a number of passenger figure records in 2007 and the summer getaway got off to a flying start with July figures up 12% compared to the same month in 2006.
