Happy Hour Friday scheme launches this week

In an initiative aimed at bringing the fun back to travel, Liverpool Airport is to offer free entertainment, giveaways and flight prizes for passengers travelling through the hub this Friday, October 29.
A DJ from the Cream nightclub will be on hand from 11:00 to 19:00, creating a party atmosphere in the departure lounge. Passengers will also able to enter a competition for tickets courtesy of easyJet, to Brussels, their latest destination to be served from Liverpool Airport.
Airport retailers will be joining in the fun, with staff in costumes offering discounts, food and drink tastings and even complimentary hand massages and mini makeovers to help passengers look as good as they feel ahead of their flights. The airport hopes to roll out a year round program of similar days.
Matthew Thomas, Commercial Director for Peel Airports said: ‘Friday is often the day of the week when passengers set off on holiday or for a weekend break. We want to give our passengers a departure to remember by putting the fun back in to travelling from Liverpool Airport on Fridays.'
